Description:
Flowers all have the same basic parts. All plants produce flowers for the same purpose - to make seeds so another plant can grow. Plants cannot travel but their flowers produce sweet nectar which attracts animals. Pollen from the plant’s stament rubs on to the animal's body; each time the animal moves on to another flower, it leaves some of the pollen behind and picks up a new supply. After they have been pollinated, flowers produce seeds and fruits. Annual flowers survive for only one growing season.
