Description:
Iguanas are members of the lizard family and are native to the Caribbean, South and Central America. The iguana has two species: the Green Iguana, which is a popular pet, and the Lesser Antillean Iguana which have been destroyed due to habitat destruction. An iguana has two eyes, but there is a third eye in the top of their head called the parietal eye. This gives them excellent vision to help aid survival in the wild and to find food.
