Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar System, and is the fifth planet from the Sun. It is made of gas and liquid and has 16 moons. It has a small rocky core surrounded by an inner mantle of metallic hydrogen. Outside this mantle is an outer mantle of liquid hydrogen and helium that merges with the atmosphere. Jupiter is famous for having a big red spot on its surface, which is actually a storm.
