Description:
The great white shark can grow to over six metres long and weigh more than two tonnes. They rarely attack humans and generally feed on sealions, which they can eat whole. Great whites are warm-blooded, which means that they are able to keep their body temperature higher than that of the surrounding water - this helps them move fast to catch prey, and to digest it quickly.
