Description:
Pollen is a type of powder which produces sperm cells. When pollen lands on a flowering plant, it germinates and produces a tube that transfers the sperm to the plant's ovary. Flowers exchange pollen using insects, which become coated in pollen when feeding upon a flower's nectar. Some flowers use bright colours to draw insects towards their nectar and pollen.
