Description:
An electric circuit is the course along which an electric current flows. Electrons carry negative charge and can be moved around a circuit by electrostatic forces. A circuit usually consists of a conductive material, such as a metal, where electrons are held very loosely to their atoms, thus making movement possible. In a series circuit, the same current flows through all the components. If one component in a series circuit fails, the others do too.
